A COMMITMENT TO OUR ROOTS

Since the creation of our first collection, our intention has been to recognize the value of our origins, making us a responsible brand with the environment. To be a “Brand with a cause” that transforms the processes of the fashion industry and leaves a positive mark on the environment through quality pieces.

VEGAN LEATHER: REDEFINING MATERIALS

Each of our designs are made with eco-leather, a material similar to skin but made with 100% vegan organic materials. We take care that the pieces are manufactured with quality materials and high durability that allow absorbency, breathability and high resistance so that you can always carry your Ohja Bag with you.

ARTISANAL PROCESS

We are a Mexican brand with Venezuelan roots that celebrates Latin American design. All the materials that we use to make the bags are made in Mexico. Our pieces are created, from start to finish, carefully by hand by our artisans, always seeking to maximize the use of ecofriendly materials and processes.

RESPECT AND CAREFOR ANIMALS

Our role on earth corresponds to the respect and conservation of each living creature. Our designs and processes are CRUELTY FREE. We promote a culture of responsibility and we are constantly working for the discovery and development of sustainable alternatives to animal skin.

Mission

We are committed to operating a modern and responsible business as agents of change. We challenge the limits to make luxury products in an appropriate way for the world we live in today and the future of sustainable fashion, through the creation of "Cruelty Free" and "Slow fashion" pieces from which we want to evolve. Every decision we make, we realize our influence on the planet and our role as a global brand that seeks to influence as agents of change in the industry. From not using fur of animal origin to using organic materials and processes.

CONSCIOUS AND SUSTAINABLE FASHION: The future of the industry

We believe that conscience and cruelty-free posture is the new frontier of the fashion world, a shift towards slower production and focused on local development and care of natural resources. We do not use animal skins in our collections, which shows what the future of the industry can be like. We are aware of the damage and footprint left by fashion in the environment and in the animal world, and we have been pioneers in overcoming the barriers of manufacturing and design, molding ourselves to trends without sacrificing the essence of luxury with its ancestral meaning , to the thoughtful purchase, the artisan manufacturing and the beauty of the materials in its broadest sense.

Awareness about the impact of fashion on the environment, implementing business models that promote the values of sustainability that benefit the economy, society and the ecosystem through the use of alternative materials that offer quality, durability and appearance to authentic fur or leather, respecting artisanal manufacturing with the collaboration of the entire value chain to achieve a common good.

CYCLE
Consuming and producing consciously with the planet. In this way we are not taking more than what Mother Nature has to offer and we stop generating waste that can stay for a long time.

MOVEMENT
After establishing and applying these commitments, we realized that it was not enough with our work and we felt the need to involve our users to be part of this movement, together.
